BIKE FITTING - Getting a bike to fit the rider is essential. We at Spearmans have over 30 years of combined experience with fitting bikes to cyclists of all disciplines including Road, Mountain Bike and Triathlon. Amongst our staff we have world, national and state champions who know how to get the best performance out of a well fitted bicycle. If need be we can even build a custom bike to fit you! and swapping or upgrading parts is all part of the service.
We know you love your bike, because we love ours too. So we know its important to keep it in top shape when you are out and about. Our experienced mechanics offer a number of services depending on what you require.

FULL SERVICE - $150 (Labour charge, parts extra)
Give your bike a birthday! Full services include a strip down, clean and rebuild of your bike. A Full service will include:
Complete wash and degrease
Strip down and Rebuild bike
Adjust gears and brakes
Grease bearings
Tension and true wheels
Replace wheel bearings and re-grease
A full report on your bicycles safety.
The following parts will be assessed and replaced with need (extra charge applies):
Replace All cables - inner and outer
Check and replace chain if required
Check and replace brake pads if required
Check and replace cassette and chain rings if required
Check and replace tyres if required
Check headset and bottom bracket
Ask us about a fork or shock service for your mountain bike whilst we have it in store.
GENERAL SERVICE - $50 (Labour charge, parts extra)
Targeting every day wear and tear on your bicycle. safety is a major concern. We will offer advice on when to replace parts. A General service includes:
Tighten fasteners
True wheels
Check spoke tension (wheel true)
Check tyre pressure and for worn tyres
Check for wear and tear on drive line (cogs, cassette etc)
Check for worn brake pads
Clean and degrease ($20- extra)
